CLUB RULESRegistration The Play Scheme Coordinator and the Playworker(s) are happy to discuss with potential new parents and children any aspect of the running of the club. Families are welcome to visit the club during its opening hours and spend some time meeting the Playworkers and the other children. Members of the management committee are also very willing to speak to parents about WASPS. Any family wishing to use the Club must first register with WASPS using the registration form. A one off registration fee of £10 per family is payable. A payment of £50 per family must be paid before a child/children can attend the club, this is a refundable deposit and will be taken off the amount owed when your child/children leave the club or refunded to you if your fees are up to date. Fees We are a charity and we do not invoice parents for WASPS fees to keep administration costs down. We ask parents to keep track of the sessions they use and pay fees accordingly. We ask parents to pay in advance where possible. Parents will be informed of any balance owed at the end of term and half term and will be a given a deadline to pay the balance. Payments can currently be made through our website by Paypal or Debit Card, Cash or cheque payments can be made at WASPS. Please Note we will be stopping payment by cheque in the very near future. Fee sheets are kept per child and can be printed out at parent's request. The accumulation of debts for fees is not permitted. Failure to pay may result in your child(ren) being excluded from WASPS. If there are genuine difficulties with paying your WASPS fees please let us know as soon as possible so we can agree a personal payment plan with you. Information regarding parent's personal circumstances will be treated in the strictest of confidence. Collecting Children Children must be picked up promptly. Parents who are persistently late will be asked to pay the staff overtime and incur a fine. Children may not leave the club without being accompanied by an adult unless written instructions to this effect have been received from their parent. The Play Co-ordinator must have the name and address of all adults who may pick up the child. Children will not be allowed to leave the club with any other person. Non Attendance Parents are required to advise the Play Scheme co-ordinator(s) as soon as possible if their child will not be attending a session. If a child is expected at WASPS but does not arrive then the Play Scheme Co-ordinator will speak to the school office. If the child has not been in school, no further action will be taken. If the child has been to school, the Play Scheme Co-ordinator will telephone the contact numbers listed in the registration form to ascertain if the child is expected. Fees are payable for all booked sessions even if your child(ren) do not attend unless we have been notified 5 working days in advance. |
