WASPS Fees

Term time fee rates valid from 4th September 2023

Each Holiday Club will be advertised with a booking deadline. The session fees for bookings made after the deadline date will be at a higher rate.

PLEASE NOTE:

• We only accept full day bookings for sessions that include an outing/external visit and will apply an extra £5 to cover costs.
• 50% of the fees must be paid as a deposit at the time of the booking.
• All of the fees must be paid before the start of any given holiday club otherwise a £5 fee will be added onto your account.

Half sessions

Half sessions for After School Club finish at 4.45pm, with Full sessions finishing at 6pm. Half sessions for Holiday Club are mornings (8am until 1pm) or afternoons (1pm until 6pm).

Flexible per hour sessions (Holiday Club only)

Flexible per hour bookings can be made during the Holiday Club sessions. A minimum of 2 continuous hours must be booked. Flexible booking can also be combined with half sessions. Flexible bookings are subject to availability depending on the activities planned for the sessions (for example excursions). Contact a Coordinator for further details.

Fees

Payments can currently be made through iPAL by Debit/Credit Card or Voucher Scheme (you can select the option and fill in the details, then our administrator will verify the voucher received). Alternatively you can make a payment on our website by Paypal or Debit Card. Cash and Cheque payments are also accepted in person at WASPS.

The accumulation of debts for Fees is not permitted. Parents need to clear their accounts one week before the end of half term. Failure to do so will incur in a 5% of your owed fees being applied on to your account. Failure to pay may result in your child(ren) being excluded from WASPS. If there are genuine difficulties with paying your WASPS Fees, please let us know as soon as possible so we can agree a personal payment plan with you. Information regarding parent's personal circumstances will be treated in the strictest of confidence.

Help with the Cost of Childcare

Most families should be able to take advantage of one of three schemes; Child Tax Credits, Tax-Free Childcare (TFC), or Childcare Vouchers. How we spend your money

At WASPS we try to keep the costs of your childcare to an absolute minimum. We are a registered charity with a voluntary management committee who do a substantial amount of work behind the scenes, keeping our administration costs to an absolute minimum and organising fundraising events with Staff. We share the Playhouse with the Community Playgroup so our building is very well utilised and running costs such as heating, lighting, rent and maintenance are shared with the playgroup to reduce costs further. WASPS will always welcome donations of equipment or toys and any other help parents and friends can offer. WASPS is not subsidised by the School or any other organisation.

WASPS is always looking for new members to join our friendly committee. We meet twice a term and we try and keep our meetings light-hearted and fun. Please help the committee in whatever way you can. We can only run WASPS if we have parents who are prepared to volunteer to join the Committee, and Fees will inevitably increase if we are not able to fundraise.
