Club RulesRegistrationFamilies wishing to use the WASPS must register with the club through our online booking system called iPAL. Please follow these steps:
WASPS Club Manager, the Deputy Manager, or any of the Staff are happy to discuss any aspect of the running of the club with potential new parents and children. Families are welcome to visit the club during its opening hours and spend some time meeting the Staff and other children. Members of the management committee are also willing to speak to parents about WASPS. WASPS is a charity and thus we try to keep administration costs to a minimum. We request that parents keep track of the sessions they use and pay their Fees owing accordingly, in advance wherever possible. Parents will be informed of any balance owed at the end of term and half term for immediate payment. Up-to-date Fee statements can now be emailed or printed for parents by the WASPS Staff at any time. Parents can also log onto our online system to view the status of their account as well as checking their bookings. Payments can currently be made through iPAL by Debit/Credit Card or Voucher Scheme (you can select the option and fill in the details, then our administrator will verify the voucher received). Alternatively you can make a payment on our website by Paypal or Debit Card. Cash and Cheque payments are also accepted in person at WASPS. The accumulation of debts for Fees is not permitted. Parents need to clear their accounts one week before the end of half term. Failure to do so will incur in a 5% of your owed fees being applied on to your account. Failure to pay may result in your child(ren) being excluded from WASPS. If there are genuine difficulties with paying your WASPS Fees, please let us know as soon as possible so we can agree a personal payment plan with you. Information regarding parent's personal circumstances will be treated in the strictest of confidence Collecting ChildrenChildren must be picked up promptly. Parents who are persistently late will be asked to pay the Staff overtime or incur a fine. Children may not leave the club without being accompanied by an adult unless written instructions to this effect have been received from their parent. The Staff must have the name and address of all adults who may pick up the child. Children will not be allowed to leave the club with any other person. Non AttendanceParents are required to advise Staff as soon as possible if their child will not be attending a session. If a child is expected at WASPS but does not arrive, then the Staff will speak to the school office in the first instance. If the child has not been in school, no further action will be taken. If the child has been at school, the WASPS co-ordinator will telephone the contact numbers listed in the registration form to ascertain if the child is expected at WASPS. Fees are payable for all booked sessions even if your child(ren) do not attend. Exceptional circumstances, which must be put in writing, will be considered at the discretion of the Co-ordinator and WASPS Management Committee. |
